Anyway, I like how sheer tights enhance the shape of your legs. And they're super sexy in an 80's kind of way...

sunday cleaning

Finally, decided to do some good ole, much needed, long over due cleaning this weekend. Besides the basic household chores, I re-organized my closet. I do this about every 6 months. I spent the whole day trying on things I haven't worn in a while and came up with new ways to wear them. After I'm done chucking and/or storing for future revival, it's like I have a whole new wardrobe again. It's a glorious feeling! Sorry, no photos of the madness. It was so hot, I was cleaning in my skibbies.

But I do have photos of "someone" else in a personal moment, who got caught up in my cleaning frenzy....

I'm so in love with Indah right now! Designed and made in Bali, Indah has become one of my most adored labels, both in my personal wardrobe and for my store. From season, to season they consistently put out "winners". I like to think of their line as casual-couture because while the pieces are typically resort-ish, they're also edgy and contemporary. Goodbye hangover!

Actually, it's for my husband's hangover, but I'm down for a good bowl
of authentic ramen anyday! The hubby and I are enjoying a Sunday off
at Gomatei ramen house in Ala Moana Shopping Center. I heart chicken
tan tan ramen w extra wakame. Hmmm

bad news, good news

Dinner is always such a hassel for me.

1. I don't get home until 9:30 now

2. I'm no chef
3. I'm picky

Last night, in particular, was one of those nights where I was definitely hungry, but didn't have a specific tastebud to please. So I went for something that was sure to satisfy....Ben and Jerry's Strawberry cheescake ice cream. My favorite part is the graham cracker crust goodness. The slightly salty taste is the perfect compliment to the sweet and creamy blend of strawberries and ice cream. Bad news is, I couldn't stop myself!!!! I finished way more than one serving size (side note: those so called "serving sizes" are for measured out for mice). Basically I gorged on ice cream for dinner.

So today I feel a tad jiggly and although it was worth it, I'm having a "fat day". But there's always a silver lining. The good news is that because I want to cover up my indulgent belly, I can wear my oversized tunic by Indah, with my BRAND SPANKING NEW HALEY WEDGES by Elizabeth and James. Yup, there is such a thing a Christmas in July!!!
